Divine Visitation

Multiple prominent new agers dramatically became Christians like St. Paul upon having an encounter with Jesus. Steve Bancarz and Doreen Virtue are examples of the abovementioned big shots who upon their change of minds went to the extent of publishing books to warn the lost sheep. Their divine visitation from the Savior was dependent on grace and their degree of alignment with Him.

Manly P. Hall prolifically highlights this supernatural experience in this book titled "What the Ancient Wisdom Expected From its Disciples." The adept has to be a high grade initiate to experience this but the new age ideologies bestow an elitist mindset upon the psyche of esotericists because they get the notion that what they know is just for the chosen few hence having being gassed up by pride, there's no room for God in them. Below is a paraphrased excerpt from that book which demystifies what is a divine visitation from the Savior:

The true Master never appears in public teaching large classes or groups concerning sacred exercises, but comes privately to their disciples and instruct each one individually. The ability to inform the disciple concerning the steps to be taken before his actual initiation is the result of the high degree of development reached by the Adept. None who is not an Adept can prescribe for the spiritual needs of students without assuming heavy Karmic responsibilities.

The disciple will probably be visited at night by his Teacher, who will come in a superphysical body. The student will feel certain that he is fully awake, and in the spiritual sense of the word he is, but he will recognize the Master only through superphysical vision. If he has not developed his spiritual nature by right living, right thinking, and right feeling during his probation as a student, he will be unable to recognize the Master when he comes.

When I am Weak, Then I am Strong

Adam was a master teacher who named all animals according to their nature. He gave the snake its name not only due to its beguiling wisdom which it exhibited when it tricked Eve, but also because of its sophistication, insight, and right discernment. A little-known fact is that the serpent uses its belly to sense an earthquake days before it occurs and it is out of right discernment that it maneuvers through its rocky habitat without ever being cut. After Eve took some of the forbidden fruits and ate them, she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate too. Consequently, Adam became guilty of ushering sin into the world because he sinned with eyes wide open, unlike Eve who was deceived. Sin brought death with it. Death spread to all men because all men have sinned [Rom 5:12]. Our condition is so desperate that, biblically speaking, we cannot overcome it alone [Jere 13:23]. There is no moral philosophy, mental exercise, or group therapy that can get rid of this sinful n...

Resilience: How to Identify Stressors and Develop Healthy Coping Mechanisms

As humans, we are resilient creatures, capable of bouncing back from the toughest of situations. Resilience can be compared to a rubber band that can stretch and return to its original form, no matter how much it is pulled. But what happens when the rubber band is pulled too far? Stressors in life can be compared to the force that stretches the rubber band, and if we don't identify and cope with them in a healthy manner, we risk snapping. To build resilience, it is crucial to identify our stressors, which can be likened to the weeds in a garden. Just as weeds can hinder the growth of a garden, stressors can hinder our personal growth. By identifying these stressors, we can work towards removing them and creating a healthier environment for growth. But simply removing stressors is not enough. Just as a garden needs to be tended to regularly, we need to develop healthy coping mechanisms to nurture our resilience. Coping mechanisms can be compared to the fertilizer that helps plants g...
