The Growing Political Divide Between Young Men and Women: An Evolutionary Perspective

In recent years, there has been a growing political divide between young men and women in many countries around the world. This divide is evident in a number of areas, including attitudes towards gender roles, social issues, and even the way that young people view the future.  One way to understand this divide is from an evolutionary perspective. Evolutionary psychologists argue that men and women have different evolved psychological predispositions, which can lead to different political views. For example, men are more likely to be concerned with power and status, while women are more likely to be concerned with relationships and social harmony.
